Behind This Collection
Tommy Valenti and Gisela Nucciarone first met in a dance class. A year later they were featured at the same local art gallery. The visual similarities between their work was mind-boggling.
This serendipity sparked a lasting friendship and creative collaboration.
Tommy Carmelo Valenti
Founder & Fine ArtistA New Jersey-based figure artist whose work has been shown across New Jersey, California, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, and Martha's Vineyard. He has been drawing and painting for fifteen years, having first experimented with wet media while at the Rhode Island School of Design. Capturing moments of delicate intimacy is his primary goal when depicting the human form.
Montessori School Teacher & Fine Artist Gisela Nucciarone
A New Jersey-based watercolor artist, mostly known for transforming biological subjects — shells, scales, organic surfaces — into works that feel simultaneously microscopic and monumental. Her deep fascination for marine subjects was nurtured during her experiences as a young adult working at the local fish market, working on oyster farms in Maine, and sailing the Caribbean Sea. She participates in NJ local art fairs yearly.
